THIS WEDNESDAY: Unknown Japan at U. Penn

This week’s installment of the Cinedelphia/JASGP-presented Unknown Japan series features Typhoon Club, a dark Japanese riff on John Hughes’ The Breakfast Club from 1985.  It’s a cherished film that has received very little attention outside of Japan and we’re proud to present it in the thematically-similar venue that is University of Pennsylvania’s Claudia Cohen Hall (Room 402).  It screens this Wednesday, September 7, at 7:30.  Admission and popcorn are, as always, free.
