The Future (Ritz at the Bourse) A relationship dissolves, a cat talks, and time stops in the new film from Miranda July.  Highly recommended.

The Guard
(Ritz Five) Brendan Gleeson stars as a no-nonsense Irish policeman in this promising debut from writer/director John Michael McDonagh.

30 Minutes or Less
(wide) Two lazy crooks strap a bomb to a young pizza delivery man’s chest and instruct him to rob a bank on their behalf.  See at your own risk.

Final Destination 5
(wide) Another batch of attractive young people die in creatively grotesque manners.

The Help
(wide, opened WED) A white woman helps some black servants write a book to get revenge on their mean owner.  At least that’s what I’ve gleaned from the commercials.

Life Above All
(Ritz at the Bourse) This South African coming-of-age story won a prize at the 2011 Cannes Film Fest.

Glee: The 3D Concert Movie
(wide) No idea.
