21 Jump Street (wide) Comedic take on the “classic” 80s television show that isn’t worth revisiting aside from that Agent Orange episode.

Being Flynn (Ritz Five) A son (Paul Dano) attempts to reconnect with his vagrant father (Robert De Niro).

Casa de mi Padre (wide) Will Ferrell stars in this Spanish language parody of Mexican entertainment; a great concept that unfortunately doesn’t lead to laughs.

Jeff, Who Lives at Home (Ritz East) The Duplass brothers (Cyrus, The Puffy Chair) continue their flirtation with the mainstream in this familial tale of heartbreak, meaning, and rebirth.

Natural Selection (Ritz at the Bourse) Quirky indie-minded comedy, read the synopsis as I can’t summarize it myself.

Seeking Justice (wide) It seems like new Nicolas Cage movies are always popping up out of nowhere these days (Trespass, Ghost Rider), here’s another one co-starring Guy Pearce and January Jones.
