Cinedelphia Movie Blog Announces Name Change to Cinema76
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – For Immediate Release
“By changing our name, we aim to be Philadelphia’s independent voice for film criticism,” according to Jill Malcolm, Editor-in-Chief.
The name change to Cinema76 is effective immediately. Our new website is Cinema76.com, which is launching today with new content, as well as our previous few years of archives. Cinema76 is the brainchild of Jill Malcolm and Ryan Silberstein, the editorial team from Cinedelphia.com. They are joined by a deep bench of talented writers, and have a continued commitment to covering films premiering in Philadelphia, local film festivals, as well as thoughtful analysis on older films.
The Cinedelphia name will be retained by founder Eric Bresler, director/curator of PhilaMOCA, programmer of the Cinedelphia Film Festival, and co-founder of the Philadelphia Psychotronic Film Society.
“In our move to Cinema76.com, we will be bringing over many of our recurring features, including our weekly Split Decision column, thoughtful reviews, and new initiatives,” says Ryan Silberstein, Managing Editor.
