While I haven’t had a chance to properly review Aki Kaurismaki’s Le Havre, opening today at the Ritz at the Bourse, I will say that it’s one of the best films of the year and is more worthy of your time than any of the conventional releases that hit theaters this past Wednesday (Le Havre embraces some conventions of its own, but in a remarkably dry manner). Highly recommended.
