Things I learned at today’s Planet of the Apes marathon courtesy of Exhumed Films:
1) All of the Apes films are pretty good except for the fifth one, which is a bit of a bore.
2) There are some great horror-themed film marathons coming up such as Vandergrift’s two night Drive-in Super Monster Rama, the Harvest Moon Drive-in’s Savage Cinema and Dead ‘Til Dawn, and the Hudson Horror Show IV up in Poughkeepsie, NY. And this is all in addition to Exhumed’s upcoming cannibal-themed and Italian sci-fi double features.
3) The gang announced the Philadelphia Premiere of UK zombie film The Dead, which will occur at October’s 24 Hour Horror-Thon Part V. Speaking of which…
4) Tickets for the aforementioned Horror-Thon go on sale tomorrow (MON 8/1) in the AM. Get ’em while you can.
